Journey into one of Uttarakhand's most culturally rich and geographically isolated valleys, experiencing local tribal culture and untouched landscapes.
Darma Valley, situated in the Pithoragarh district, is a hidden geographical gem bordering Tibet. Carved by the Dhauliganga River, the valley is home to 14 remote border villages inhabited by the indigenous Rung community, who maintain rich cultural traditions, unique stone-and-wood architecture, and vibrant festivals.
This expedition is a journey of cultural immersion and natural wonder, combining the remote villages of the valley with the spectacular trek to the Panchachuli Base Camp. Standing directly under the shadow of the five majestic snow-capped peaks of Panchachuli, it offers a perfect blend of high-altitude adventure and local heritage. Operating directly from our headquarters in Pithoragarh, we handle the required Inner Line Permits, coordinate private 4x4 Mahindra Boleros, and arrange stays in authentic community-owned homestays.
Darma Valley is a paradise for travelers looking to disconnect from the modern world and connect deeply with nature and authentic mountain communities.
