Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any tour or yatra package with Rudraansh Yatra. By making a booking or payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travel group.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all bookings, payments, and travel services provided by Rudraansh Yatra (MSME Reg. UDYAM-UK-09-0012985), headquartered at 1st Floor Above Maniram Punetha & Sons, Simalgair Bazaar, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand - 262501.
By completing a booking (online or offline), making any payment, or joining any tour, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the advance payment as specified in your tour quote and issuance of a written confirmation from Rudraansh Yatra
- All bookings must be made at least 15 days in advance to allow sufficient time for Inner Line Permit (ILP) processing
- Bookings are subject to availability. Rudraansh Yatra reserves the right to decline bookings at its sole discretion
- Booking confirmation will be sent via email or WhatsApp within 24 hours of receiving the advance payment
- All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are per person unless stated otherwise
- Prices may vary based on group size, chosen route, accommodation type, and travel dates
3. Payment Terms
- Advance Payment: A non-refundable advance of 30–50% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking
- Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the tour departure date, or as specified in your booking confirmation
- Accepted Payment Methods: UPI, NEFT/RTGS bank transfer, Razorpay (debit/credit card, net banking), and cash at our Pithoragarh office
- All online payments are processed through Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Rudraansh Yatra does not store card or bank details
- Receipts will be issued for all payments via email or WhatsApp
- Failure to complete balance payment by the due date may result in booking cancellation without refund of the advance
4. Traveller Responsibilities
Every traveller is responsible for:
- Providing accurate personal information, identity documents, and medical details as required for permit processing and safety planning
- Carrying original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Driving Licence) throughout the journey — this is mandatory at all border checkposts
- Arriving at the designated assembly point on time. Delays caused by the traveller will not be compensated
- Following all instructions from Rudraansh Yatra guides and drivers at all times, especially regarding safety protocols at high altitudes
- Behaving respectfully towards local communities, religious sites, and the natural environment
- Carrying adequate personal medications and informing our team of any pre-existing medical conditions before the trip
- Ensuring they hold appropriate travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation (strongly recommended)
Note: Rudraansh Yatra shall not be liable for any consequences arising from a traveller's failure to carry original identity documents, withholding of medical information, or non-compliance with guide instructions.
5. Health & Fitness Requirements
- All yatras and treks involve travel to high altitudes (above 3,000m/10,000ft). Travellers must be in good physical health
- For Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra (reaching 4,750m), a medical fitness certificate from a registered doctor is strongly recommended for travellers above 60 years or with known cardiovascular, respiratory, or diabetic conditions
- Rudraansh Yatra reserves the right to refuse service or require a traveller to descend if, in the guide's professional judgment, the traveller's health poses a risk to themselves or the group
- In such cases, no refund will be provided for unused services beyond what is recoverable
- Every vehicle carries portable oxygen cylinders, pulse oximeters, and basic first-aid kits
- Travellers with severe Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) will be evacuated by the fastest safe route; any additional evacuation costs beyond standard trip costs are the traveller's responsibility
6. Permits & Documentation
- Inner Line Permits (ILP) are mandatory for travel into restricted border zones (Vyas Valley, Darma Valley). Rudraansh Yatra coordinates permit processing directly with the SDM offices in Pithoragarh and Dharchula on behalf of travellers
- Travellers must submit required documents (Aadhaar copy, Police Verification Certificate, photographs, medical fitness certificate) at least 15 days before departure
- Permit fees are included in our tour cost unless explicitly stated otherwise
- Rudraansh Yatra is not responsible for permit rejections by government authorities due to incomplete or inaccurate documentation provided by the traveller
- Foreign nationals (including NRIs holding foreign passports) must obtain additional clearances; please contact us for specific requirements before booking
7. Itinerary Changes
The safety and well-being of our travellers is our highest priority. Rudraansh Yatra reserves the right to modify, postpone, or curtail any itinerary without prior notice due to:
- Adverse weather conditions, including snowstorms, heavy rainfall, or poor visibility
- Landslides, road blockages, or bridge washouts affecting route accessibility
- Government or military directives restricting border zone access
- Health emergencies within the group
- Any other event beyond our reasonable control
In such cases, Rudraansh Yatra will make all reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements. Partial refunds for unused services will be considered on a case-by-case basis; however, no full refunds will be issued for curtailment due to natural events or force majeure.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Rudraansh Yatra's total liability for any claim arising from a tour booking shall not exceed the total tour cost paid by the traveller
- We are not liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the tour
- We are not liable for personal injury, illness, or death arising from a traveller's failure to follow guide instructions, concealment of medical conditions, or engagement in activities beyond the tour scope
- We are not liable for delays, disruptions, or expenses caused by circumstances beyond our control (see Force Majeure)
- Rudraansh Yatra strongly recommends that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and helicopter evacuation before travelling
9. Force Majeure
Rudraansh Yatra shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or failures in service caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters: earthquakes, floods, avalanches, cloudbursts, or landslides
- Extreme weather events or prolonged road closures
- Government orders, military restrictions, or border closures
- Strikes, civil unrest, or public health emergencies (including pandemics)
- Acts of terrorism or war
In force majeure situations, Rudraansh Yatra will make every effort to recover and refund costs of unused, non-recoverable services. We cannot guarantee full refunds in such circumstances.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, India.
Rudraansh Yatra reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
